There is another voice actor who is good friends with Mr. Suganuma, and his fans were putting out an advertisement.

Mr. Ototsu：First of all, it started with what everyone wanted to do.
The first ad was a birthday celebration, so it felt like we were doing what we wanted to do.

Mr. Ototsu：Everyone says "It's the best! It's the best!" every time we make it (lol), but in April, there was an IDOLM@STER live show called "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS 6th LIVE TOUR Come and Unite!".
I was able to put out a flower stand for the first time in a while, so I put a lot of effort into making it!

BirthdayJAPAN staff：How did you become a fan of Suganuma-san?
Mr. Ototsu：The first time I saw Mr. Suganuma was in 2020.
There was a game I originally liked, but Mr. Suganuma was added as a new character.
I saw Suganuma-san for the first time when a live game was held.I was really drawn to the live performance, the way he played his character, and the details of how he moved as a character and how he used his fingers when he was on stage.
BirthdayJAPAN staff：The visual was created by Mr. Suganuma himself, and was he performing as a character?
Mr. Ototsu：That's right!
When voice actors appear in live performances of anime or games, they usually appear as voice actors, but since they are the characters on stage, they act as the characters.
Mr. Suganuma places particular importance on this aspect, and I fell in love with his performance when I saw that attitude coming through.
Amamiya Shugo：I used to play the Idolmaster content and go to live shows.
Around 2018, a brand called "Shiny Colors" that Mr. Suganuma is a cast member for was released, and I've been working on it since the service launched.
My favorite character among them was the one that Mr. Suganuma was in charge of.
I originally thought that the voice actors for the characters and the cast were two different things, and I like it when the cast recreate scenes from anime or games and become the characters.
When I went to Shinymas (abbreviation for THE IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors)'s first big live show,The way Mr. Suganuma played the character was very natural and I felt like they were one.
When you look at the silhouette, it looks like it's the character, and she has a large twin-tailed hairstyle...
It was the first time that I liked or had an interest in the cast!

Mr. Ototsu：The station advertisement we put out the year before last was so hectic that we had to work on the design until the very last minute.
It was a really good ad, butThe most memorable thing I've seen recently is when Mr. Suganuma took a photo with me and uploaded it.
I was just hoping that they would know about it, but I never expected that they would take a photo of me, post it on SNS, and even give me their impressions, so I was a little too happy! (lol)
Amamiya Shugo：There was a video of me being interviewed before Shanimas's live performance.
At that moment, you can become the character.“I want to bring a character down (to make it appear) at the live venue.”That's what we were talking about.

Mr. Ototsu：The advertisement for Mr. Suganuma's friend that I mentioned earlier did not use a photo of the person himself, so I assumed that the photo could not be used.
But first, I was asked if I could use a publicity photo, so I received one.After that, I received additional photos, and I was happy to have the agency's cooperation.
Nearly 50 people participated in supporting the project.

Mr. Ototsu：Yes! We also held flower stands at events and last year's support advertisements to solicit support.

People who like the characters and people who like Mr. Suganuma as a voice actor also support us, so there are many people who cooperate with the IDOLM@STER live performances.

My main job is as a voice actor, so I think it would be amazing if I could celebrate my accomplishments as a voice actor.
It's kind of like giving a job as a gift (lol), but Mr. Suganuma has positive things to say about how much fun it is to work as a voice actor.

Amamiya Shugo：I would like to see something that is not in Suganuma's image!
I was saying that since I'm a voice actor, I have my specialties.
For example, acting that is close to normal, bright acting, and if it's a bit of a curve ball, it's a Yankee-like character.
Those who know Mr. Suganuma now have a strong image of him working in anime series such as Shanimasu.
I think that if I play a character that is unexpected, I will be able to show a different side to people who have not been exposed to it before!
Mr. Ototsu：In anime, you act in a way that makes the character stand out, but in dubbing, you are required to act in a way that is more human-like.
Mr. Suganuma himself said that among the various anime works, he would like to appear in a work that depicts more realistic human patterns.So, I would be even happier if I could see them like that.
