MASATO:To be honest, I don't really feel that way.

I also think, "I was a student the other day," but I think, "Yeah, I'm already 25."

To be honest, when I was little, I thought, "25 years old is quite an adult," but surprisingly, I don't really feel that way.

But I wonder what it is... I suddenly feel like an adult.

I don't know if I'll be in my 30s (lol)

So I would like to create a more mature atmosphere! (lol)

MASATO: I'm so happy!

Certainly, people often say, "You better laugh."

Until now, I've been really bad at showing my true self, but as I've been working on Maison B recently, I've become more and more open-minded.

I was really feeling it since I entered university...

I didn't feel like I was really showing myself, but since I joined Maison B, I've been able to keep making myself more and more open.

I hope that even 25 years old can find a newer self.

MASATO: Have you discovered it recently? !

I haven't discovered it recently, but I mean "accept it"...

I mean, I'm just a bit of a waste, I'm not that strong.

I didn't want to admit it, but recently I've started to admit it like, "I'm surprisingly, that's what I am." (laughs)

So it seems like it's getting a little easier! (lol)

Senil JAPAN Staff: I've certainly heard quite a few MBius people say, "Masato is actually an interesting person" (laughs).

MASATO: No, I don't know if it's interesting, but I've been told once because I'm familiar with it (laughs)

One day, a male photographer filming YouTube suddenly appeared.

"MASATO, I want to bring it out a little more!"

I once came across it while talking to a member.

I think I'm probably hooked on something strange lol

Senil JAPAN Staff:Do you know about birthday ads and support ads, MASATO?

MASATO: Right, yes. I've seen it posted by MBius.

Senil JAPAN Staff: Actually, birthday ads and support ads originate from the Korean support culture. What did you think when you first learned about this support culture?

MASATO: When I was a student, I liked K-POP and other things, so I knew about it (their existence itself).

However, when I was in high school in Shizuoka, I never saw many support ads like those found at stations.

When I moved to Tokyo in university, it was right when K-POP was popular, so I felt like, "No matter which station I go to, there's something about it."

When I was watching TV or YouTube, I thought, "I kind of familiar," but then I found out that I saw it in a support ad.

So, I think it's a great thing for artists to advertise their favorites where fans are visible to others.

It really feels like I'm being supported by myself.

Senil JAPAN Staff: Have you ever actually gone to see your support or birthday ads?

MASATO: I was born in May and the audition was broadcast in May, so I was given a support ad, so I went and took a good photo!

MASATO: I didn't feel it.

At that time, I really felt like "not me."

At that time, I was just a student and appeared in the media, so I was just myself, but I was like, "Is there something?!"

MASATO: I think it's really strong!

It's been about 1 year and 8 months since your pre-debut, but how was your year as Maison B?

MASATO:I just heard that it's been about 1 year and 8 months since my pre-debut, and I'm spending my days so intense that I wonder, "Is that only that long has passed since then?"

We're close friends with the members and we're always together, so I think we have more memories of them for over a year and eight months.

If you say 1 year and 8 months, that's right...

When I think about my high school life isn't over at all and it's about halfway point, I feel like I'm having a really fulfilling life.

Senil JAPAN Staff: Since you started working as Maison B, what do you feel like, "That's the most unusual" or "this part has grown"?

MASATO: I'm an artist, so I think my job is to make you cool, but on the other hand, I'm no longer cooler than before.

When I got on stage, I was able to show off my own self without thinking about anything.

I'm not the type of person who talks that often, but when I'm on stage, I don't get nervous because I'm in front of people.

I recently realized that "I'm the type who can show off my own experiences surprisingly well."

Senil JAPAN Staff: Is there anything MASATO takes great care when you go on stage?

MASATO: I'm basically the type of person who wants to express the "emotions of that day" exactly as they are.

There was something I didn't want to make too much decisions.

I want to express my feelings that day, so I don't make much decisions in advance that "I'll do this."

Therefore, since we have to prepare our stock on a daily basis, I personally think that we can do the actual event freely, while still making preparations in advance.

Senil JAPAN Staff: I think there were many opportunities to interact with fans through solo concerts and 1st anniversary concerts. Are there any memories or moments you remember with MBius?

MASATO: I held a release event when I made my debut, and I feel that during that period I have been able to feel that my sense of distance between me and MBius has been greatly reduced.

I have been visiting a variety of places, mainly in the Kanto region, and there are fans who come every time, and there are also people who come at the special event to the same name and face, which really makes me feel like the distance between me.

In the end, a release party was held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, and the bonds that had been built up over the period up until then exploded at the final solo live concert...

This series of events gives the feeling that they have built up together, and it is the most memorable thing.

Senil JAPAN Staff: As I listened to the story, I really felt that it was a group that would unite with the MBius members and work together!

As Maison B, I would like to challenge myself as an individual

Senil JAPAN Staff:What kind of challenges would you like to take in the future? First of all, please let us know what you would like to challenge as a group.

MASATO:That's already a mess!

Our common goal is to "perform on a much bigger stage."

We wrote and composed the song "Time Capsule," which was the first song we wrote and composed, and there is a part of the member LYU, called "10 Years Later Tokyo Dome is Maison B's Home."

My ultimate goal is to "become an artist who performs a live performance at Tokyo Dome."

I think we have to step up one by one in the process.

I really feel that I want to reach the next stage around 2024 or 2025.

Senil JAPAN Staff:thank you. What is the appeal of Maison B?

MASATO: I guess the appeal of Maison B is its "personality"!

When I first saw the seven members, each one seemed completely different...and there were two members of the mix.

Everyone has different faces and appearances, so I don't think our members will ever find something like, "I don't know which person or this person!"

In addition, the content is also very unique.

We think that this is a rather interesting group with such individuality in mind.

Senil JAPAN Staff:What does MASATO think about his own personality?

MASATO: He's 184cm tall and is the biggest in the team, but I think that's one of my weapons too.

Also, it looks more manly, but rather crunchy (lol)

The inside is very cheerful, and I've been told something like "a big man with a kind heart" or "a kind heart monster" (lol)

That's a bit of a difference, and I think it's my charm.

MASATO: I'm currently a little curious about acting, and I want to take the challenge.

MASATO: We're currently working on creating music together as MBius, but I'd like to meet in person in person and have a meeting (lol)

I'm currently presenting this to MBius and trying to figure out what I would prefer, and I don't think there are many artists who do this too...

I wonder what would happen if I met in real life and put MBius in the meeting place (lol)

I don't know what will happen, but I'd like to try it someday!
