"Unnämed" is a musician and VTuber who is active as a "nameless artist."😊

Amazingly, the number of YouTube channel subscribers has exceeded 310,000 in less than 8 months since the first post!

Birthdaystaff:This time, to commemorate the release of "Summer Song" for half a year, fans have put out a support advertisement for Shibuya's street vision, ad track.

How did you find out about support advertising?

Mr. Unnamed: There is something called egosatag.

There is a hashtag "#dear_u_san" that was created by a fan.

It was a tag created by all the fans before we released ``Summer Song.''

So it was a tag where people could leave messages for themselves or messages like they've been waiting for us to do more.

It's my daily routine to check those tags frequently.

Most of my fans are from overseas.

This project itself was mainly done by Japanese fans, but the kids from overseas who didn't really understand the project ended up teaching it to themselves using tags (lol).

We took the opportunity to advertise in Shibuya, the setting for "Summer Song."

I learned that they are planning a project called ``Let's make U-san cry.''

So I thought I'd like to give something back by doing something that no one has ever done before.

Birthdaystaff: I think you learned about the support advertisement as a surprise (?), but how did you feel when you found out that the fans were preparing it?

Mr. Unnamed:If I say this, the fans will get angry, butI'm really grateful that you're doing something like that for me.

I really gave it my all.

Even though we are creating content for overseas, the Japanese U-rei kids are working hard to translate the project into English, Chinese, Thai, and Korean, and prepare it to reach as many people as possible.

That made me really happy.

It felt special.

We will respond to the support from our fans by doing something equally big!

Birthdaystaff:This project was a hot topic on social media even at the time of recruitment! How did you feel when you saw the excitement surrounding the project?

Mr. Unnamed: Hmm,I was so happy that I can't even put it into words.

To be honest, when it came to planning the project itself, I was thinking, ``Well, it would be great if about five people came to see the concert,'' but...

There were kids who came all the way from Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to see us.

Birthdaystaff: You mean you went all the way to Japan, right?

Mr. Unnamed: That's right. It seems like Korean kids came the most.

Birthdaystaff:So, there was an announcement for a mini-live, so you decided to go see it?

Mr. Unnamed:Originally, there were some people who came to see the support advertisements, but U-san said that if he was going to come for a concert, he would buy tickets if it was within a week.

Since it was close and the show lasted about two hours, many people went out of their way to get tickets and come see it.

Birthdaystaff:The love from the fans really comes through.

Mr. Unnamed:Yes,Then I have to do something equally big! That's what I thought.

Giving back to U-rei by doing something no one has ever done before

Birthdaystaff:This time, I think they held a surprise mini-live as a thank you for the support advertisement. What were your thoughts on holding this event?

Mr. Unnamed:It's only been half a year since I started my activities, and my fan base isn't in Japan.

After all, our main fan base is from English-speaking countries, so even if we want to hold an event in Japan, it's a bit of a problem that we can't.

In the midst of all this, I wondered if there was anything I could do as a musician to help my Japanese fans.

It's the closest and easiest to do. That will become a hot topic!

I think that what makes my Japanese fans happy is that I become a hot topic of conversation.

In that sense, I don't think anyone has ever performed live at Alta! (lol)

Birthdaystaff: No, I think it was my first time!

Mr. Unnamed: Good!

I thought if no one has done it before, I should be the first! (lol)

When I came up with this idea and started talking about it, I saw a Vtuber called Mori Calliope from Hololive perform at Yunika Vision.

I'm sure there are people who have similar thoughts! I was a little disappointed! (lol)

But this is a project for U-rei, so why not! That's what I thought.

Birthdaystaff:But it's definitely my first time at Alta!

Vision staff also said to us, ``I'm really looking forward to it,'' as it was my first time holding the event!

Mr. Unnamed:We prepared a new song as an emergency.

At that time, there were only two songs. Also, it was rock solid (lol)

I thought people who came to Shinjuku would be surprised, so this time I prepared an EDM-style song for the first time.

Birthdaystaff: I see! I see that you were very considerate about that as well.

Mr. Unnamed:I also wanted to try making it.

Birthdaystaff: It became a hot topic on the day, and the hashtag was also trending, so I think it was a great success!

Mr. Unnamed:Thank you!

Birthdaystaff: Is this the first time you've been trending?

Mr. Unnamed:It has been trending several times, but this may have been the first time on Japan's X (formerly Twitter).

What did Unnämed want to convey to his fans through the mini-live?

Birthdaystaff:How did you feel from the time you decided to hold the event to the time you actually performed support advertisements and mini-lives?

Mr. Unnamed:Hmm, I was preparing for the people I love...

I was also thinking, ``What if it doesn't work out?''

Whether it goes well or not, I hope it's something I can do for my fans.That's what I thought.

So I was able to move forward with this project without being too scared.

There was something that I really wanted to convey...Isn't support advertising part of the promotion?

So I'm definitely watching everyone's support ads!That's what I mean.

Mr. Unnamed: It seems like there are a lot of projects going on right now thanks to this Rooting_for_U event.

If Japanese fans are doing it, we should do it too!

How did you feel when you actually saw your own advertisement appearing?

Mr. Unnamed:Can I express my feelings for a moment?

It's like this...

I was overwhelmed with emotion.

I'm only in my second year living in Tokyo, but this is something I couldn't have imagined two years ago.

I grew up overseas, so I had a lot of feelings towards my original song ``Summer Song.''

I felt very special about being active in Tokyo.

The fact that it was featured in an advertisement in Tokyo was really, really...

As a budding musician, I feel this is extremely meaningful.

Birthdaystaff: That's right. Since the setting of "Summer Song" is Shibuya, what was it like having your advertisement appear in such a place?

Mr. Unnamed:This is just a little bit of a story...

I went to see it.

I wanted to go see it just because of the advertisement that the fans put up, I couldn't resist.

When I went nearby, I saw some kids who looked like fans...

Oh no! ! ! ! That's it! (lol)

I tied my hair right away, took my necklace, and ran into the building (lol).

I can't go out much, so I only go out about twice a month. 

Even though I went out for the first time in a while,

Is this it? It's like, oh no, it's so bad (lol)

After waiting for about an hour, all those people disappeared.

I think it was around 9pm, and the peach frappuccino was popular at a nearby Starbucks, so I bought it.

Birthdaystaff: So cute! (lol)

Mr. Unnamed:I love ice cream and milkshakes.

Fans even draw illustrations for it.

Even on Egosatag, there are many children who share photos saying things like ``I ate delicious ice cream'' and ``I ate delicious cake.''

It's hot while drinking that peach frappuccino.

I'm embarrassed, so I hide my face with my smartphone...

The 109 screen is right next to the police station at Shibuya Station.

I'm standing next to the police station and if something happens I can immediately run to the police (lol)

The police officer was also patient with me as I stood there feeling awkward (lol)

Then the advertisement started playing,When I saw what the fans had prepared, I cried.

I started crying...

So I felt even more awkward with the police officer (lol)

I was opening the LINE manga “Oshi no Ko” on my smartphone (lol)

That was a really cruel scene...I don't understand why she was crying (lol)

The police officer probably wouldn't know what was going on,

But I was giving off an aura asking me not to speak to her...

I was just one step away, until someone called out to me.

But after that, I ended up standing there for about two hours.

I've looked it over many times.

Birthdaystaff:Are there any messages you received from fans after seeing the support advertisement?

Mr. Unnamed:I think the Internet is an environment where it is difficult for both those who are promoting and those who are being promoted to get a real sense of what they are doing.

So, I was able to hear from the fans that they were really rooting for me.

I often say "I love you" on stream,

I really felt that he loved me.

Wow, I feel like crying again now that I remember something.

Birthdaystaff: I think the fans would be very happy to hear that.

Mr. Unnamed:I don't think there are many people who are this close to their fans.

But the reason why I'm like this is because I've never been loved this much in my life.

Isn't it important that when someone says I love you, I say I love you back?

I felt so much love.

What was the reaction to the mini-live, which was a huge success?

Birthdaystaff:I think the people who were able to see the mini-live were also happy, but the people who planned it, ``Let Me Rooting for U,'' were so happy that they died. What was your reaction?

Mr. Unnamed:I think there were two people at the center who were planning it, a girl called Mioka and a girl called Mai.

I was like, “I don’t understand” (lol)

It's like I don't really understand what's going on! I used to come here often for things like Supacha.

First, I received a DM.

The two planners told me that they were thinking of putting out an advertisement like this, but in order to play ``Summer Song,'' they would have to get permission from U-san, who has the rights to the song, so I was wondering if they could give me permission.
